With Microsoft now providing preconfigured VHD files, it has become so easy to test drive new software without cluttering up my machine, unfortunately VHD file sizes tend to be anywhere from 2.3 - 6Gb and that eats up a lot of disk space. Searching for a way to reclaim my disk space back , I came across Parallels Compressor, and decided to give it a try - And I am amazed, the software rocks, on an average it has managed to reduce the size of the VHD files by 1.7-2.5 GB!
